John Reynders draws upon his extensive corporate and scientific experience as the current Head of R&D Information for AstraZeneca where he manages the informatics, information science, and IT functions for AstraZeneca R&D, accelerating the productivity of the firm's regulatory functions, translational operations, discovery research, and clinical development activities.

Previously, John was Head of Neuroscience Biomarkers and Integrative Solutions at Johnson & Johnson where he combined diagnostic, pharmaceutical, technology, information, and service offerings into integrated solutions to improve health outcomes in the fields of Psychiatry, Pain, and Alzheimer's. John also co-founded the Companion Diagnostic Center of Excellence, created and led the Informatics Center of Excellence, and served as the Chief Information Officer of the Pharmaceutical Research and Development division of Johnson & Johnson. John has also held senior positions at Eli Lilly and Celera Genomics.

Mr. John Reynders took his Ph.D. from Princeton University, earning the Ray Grimm Memorial Prize for Computational Physics. After graduation, John Reynders completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Advanced Computing Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico. At Los Alamos National Labs, John Reynders participated in the creation of parallel Gyrokinetic simulations and created the first-of-its-kind parallel object-oriented class library for particle simulations.

Due to his exemplary work in mathematics and software, John Reynders is a highly respected public speaker and presenter. John Reynders has delivered keynote addresses around the world, covering topics such as the use of parallel processors in meteorology and high performance embedded computing. In addition, John Reynders has contributed to many professional associations, including the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the American Physical Society (APS).

John Reynders obtained his Master's degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business. He also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
